Rec Board Welcomes Students with Special Needs

Montclair State Gives Back with a Dr. Seuss Wonderland

The Montclair State Rec Board closed down the Student Recreation Center to invite special needs students in for a day of fun and their parents for a day of relaxation. The theme for 2013 was Dr. Seuss, and the Rec Board transformed the center to a wonderland.

“Students can be themselves, around a staff that was there to make a day fun with activities and games,” says Danison Fronda, Rec Board Committee Member. “We think it is a blessing to be able to give back to the community.”
