Politics & Pizza on Election Night

NJ News Commons Sponsors Midterm Results Tracking for Students and Media Gurus

On November 4th Montclair State University students, faculty, and local journalists met to create data maps as the polls closed for the November 4th elections. They were divided by county to log the results into spreadsheets to create a more visual and comprehensive view of the election results. Their main motivation aside from a civic duty was free PIZZA. Pizza was provided to everyone who stayed to work on this collaboration and nothing makes students more enthusiastic about politics than pizza.
