On Tuesday, Jan. 28 the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks visited Newark, New Jersey’s Prudential Center for Super Bowl Media Day. At 10:30 a.m. Several of the Broncos took the floor to field questions from the press. Highlighted members including head coach, John Fox, quarterback Peyton Manning and wide receiver Wes Welker were immediately bombarded by a swarm of cameras and tripods.
After a “half-time show” featuring several performances by Tramps Like Us a Bruce Springsteen cover band, actors from Motown: The Musical, the New York Jets Flight Crew and the Rutgers pep band, the Seahawks were greeted by the sold-out crowd wearing a variety of Seahawks, Broncos, Jets, and New York Giants jerseys.
Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman drew the largest crowd with everyone trying to get as much out of him as possible.
Upon leaving the arena fans received a care package that included a mix of sponsor-related products. Gatorade energy chews, trading cards, Pepsi and even Tide dishwasher pods.
