Local Business discovers the Super Bowl, might not be Super

Be careful how you celebrate, the NFL could have a bone to pick

This weekend was slated to be a big one for business in New Jersey, until the NFL decided the use of the name “Super Bowl” was a big no-no. Towns and businesses near the stadium asked the NFL for support like providing them with raffle items for their events but were turned down. The NFL even decided that the Roman numerals XLVIII were off limits. These strict rules even caused a few businesses to cancel their events. Don’t worry though, there are still plenty of things going on in Northern New Jersey, like Montclair’s 2014 Big Game Winter Festival on Saturday and East Rutherford’s Meadowlands Tailgate Party 2014 on Sunday.
