Furious 7 Trailer Arrives With Adrenaline Fueled Stunts

The trailer for “Furious 7” has arrived and it is filled with insane stunts, new villains and loads of fast cars.

The new movie features Paul Walker, who died in a car crash in November 2013. This would be the final big screen appearance of the actor.

Production of the movie was halted following his death, pushing the release date to 2015.

The long-running series first arrived in movie theaters in 2001. It has earned more than $2 billion worldwide.

The trailer opens up with the crew back to work and parachuting out of a plane in their vehicles. That’s right, in their respective fast cars, landing on a highway in pursuit of a bus that appears to be modified for warfare with human cargo inside. Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) is tasked with recuing a woman, Megan (Nathalie Emmanuel), from inside the bus. The pursuit leads to one of the most insane stunts by O’Conner.

The new villain is Ian Shaw (Jason Statham), brother of Owen Shaw (Luke Evans) who was the villain on “Fast & Furious 6.” Ian made a brief appearance at the end of “Tokyo Drift,” the third installment of the series. Although “Tokyo Drift” was the third film to be produced in the series, it is actually the sixth one within the franchise’s storyline.

“Furious 7” was directed by “The Conjuring” filmmaker James Wan. The movie is jam-packed with adrenaline, parties, fights and everything in between. Watch the trailer below and let the countdown begin. The film hits theaters on April 3, 2015.
