Montclair State Women's Basketball Heads to the Final Four

If your’re looking for the Montclair State University Women’s Basketball team you can find them at the Division III Final Four in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Red Hawks left Montclair Wednesday bound for the Van Noord Arena as they prepare to their first game against George Fox University on March 20 (7:00 p.m.).

The Red Hawks secured their position in the Division III Final Four after beating Salisbury University 68-44 on Saturday, March 14 at the Panzer Athletic Center. The Red Hawks are going into this battle with a 31-1 record, against the undefeated George Fox University (31-0).

Coach Karin Harvey returns to her home state, in a fitting homecoming, to mark the Red Hawks first Final Four since 1987 where they placed third. Senior Melissa Tobie, named All-American First Team, is following in the footsteps of MSU Hall of Famer Carol Blazejowski, as she hits 2,008 point thus far this season. She and Janitza Aquino have appeared in all 31 games and Aquino has been named Second-Team All-NJAC.

Students can watch the game live at the Dinallo Heights Multipurpose Room or The Student Recreation Center Lobby at 7:00 p.m. on Friday March 20. Or stream the game in their dorm rooms here:
