In her most recent book, “Her Best-Kept Secret,” author Gabrielle Glaser delves into the relationship of American women and their love for alcohol. Prior to “Her Best-Kept Secret” Glaser penned two other books, “Strangers to the Tribe: Portraits of Interfaith Marriage” and “The Nose: A Profile of Sex, Beauty, and Survival.”
She started her journalism career as a news assistant at The New York Times and moved on to work as a writer and reporter for several outlets, including the Associated Press, The Village Voice, The New York Times Magazine, and National Public Radio. Host, Merrill Brown, the director of the School of Communication and Media at Montclair State University, sits down with Gabrielle Glaser to talk about her career as an author and a journalist.
