Commercial advertising is what makes the television industry go round. With channels like HBO earning money through subscription fees, other television networks must make room in their programming for commercial advertisement. But what goes into developing these advertisements?
Host Rob Rowan, a TVDM alum from the School of Communication and Media at Montclair State University, sits down with Cardie Mortimer to talk about the inner workings of television advertising.
Cardie began his career at ABC, working as a Junior Analyst of Sports, Daytime, News and Late Night. He worked his way up through the company and became Executive Director of ABC TV Primetime Sales Planning and Sales Administration.
