Blizzard Jonas Conquers the Northeast

Winter Storm Jonas was declared the second largest storm in New York City history, but many suburban towns in New Jersey received even higher snowfall accumulation. Residents around the Montclair area were buried in over two feet of snow this weekend when Jonas hit New Jersey, leaving little to do during the storm, but a lot to shovel out the next morning. Even the busiest roads and shopping centers were virtually empty when Jonas brought heavy winds and paralyzing snowfall to the area, but the community in Lyndhurst braved the elements to clean up and return to normalcy on Sunday morning.
