Anticipation for Participation: Voting on a local level

On October 27th Blanton Hall hosted a meet and greet for the Little Falls City Council and the students of Montclair State University. All members of the community were encouraged to attend, and engage with local politicians. Students from all different academic backgrounds were given the chance to speak with the candidates and address their needs as part of the local community, in particular residents of Blanton, Machuga, Dinallo, Hawk Crossing, Sinatra and The Village, and members of the campus community who live in Little Falls. The evenings informal meet and greet functioned as a way to bring politics to life at a local level and remind students they have the right to vote on campus in Machuga this coming Tuesday November 4th!
