Host, Merrill Brown, sits down with CNBC anchor and Vice President of Strategic Editorial Initiatives, Tyler Mathisen. As Vice President for Strategic Editorial Initiatives, Tyler works closely with CNBC’s Business Development and Marketing teams on strategic initiatives and alliances. He also co-anchors CNBC’s “Power Lunch” and “Nightly Business Report”, an award-winning business news program that reaches about 96 percent of US households through public television.

Purchased in early 2013 by CNBC, “Nightly Business Report” is the first program produced by a cable network for public television. The program features in-depth coverage and analysis of the biggest financial news stories of the day, as well as connecting the public to the world’s top business leaders.
This episode was produced and hosted by the director of the School of Communication and Media, Merrill Brown and directed by TVDM major, Taylor Zuppa.
